on our Aysee food trip last night..
Oh yes.. I got to taste Aysee's famous sizzling sisig once again.. yum yum.. I can say that it's the best sisig i've ever tasted in my entire life! (Aysee's owner should pay me for this endorsement..hehe!) Well, here's my top 3 list of restos where you can find the best sisig..
1. Aysee
2. Gilligan's Grill
3. Congo Grill

on my Olympus battery charger..
Damn.. I dunno what happened but my charger suddenly stops charging! I asked a dealer how much does it cost.. and great, it's 2000 bucks.. waaahhhh.. too much. not right now.. I have a scheduled summer get away this March at Puerto Galera and i need my digicam.. =(

* to the kind souls out there who also owns this kind of charger.. may i borrow yours for a while? :D

on my freelance project..
waahh.. im always encountering this error.. "Unspecified Error" Hay.. one of the cons of having an MS Acess as a backend.. tsktsk..

on sms quotes..
- Love is not the absence of pain, not the state of perfect hapiness, not the feeling of security. Love is surpassing all, by being with that someone and knowing that it's worth it.

- may pag-ibig na dumarating satin.. sa maling panahon, maling pagkakataon.. masakit man, kelangan iwasan natin. pero kung talagang para satin yan, babalik yan.. ilang beses man natin iwasan.

- it's tough to stay single in this world, where everybody expects you to be with somebody.. but staying single is not about having no one, rather, it's an opportunity to find the right person to be with you forever..

That's all for now. Ciao!

reality check

The first quarter of the year isn't over and yet we have already faced two unexpected and horrible tragedies. The Ultra Stampede and right now, the mud slide of Leyte. I didn't feel good last saturday while watching the news at channel 7 featuring the barangay at St., Bernard, Leyte. I can't image how a barangay with houses and a school have been wiped-out in 5 minutes.. People together with their dreams died just like that..

------------

Life oh life..
I know life is short. But after the 2 big news, I really really felt that life is indeed very short.. I remember someone recently told me, "ilang taon ka na ba?! ang bata mo pa bakit ka ba nagmamadali?" She doesn't know why. I don't feel im rushing things.. More or less, i think i'm chasing time.. I never knew the real definition of Time is Gold until i started working. A year just zoomed out of nowhere and charan! here comes 2006!

Anyway, i would just like to stress out to people (especially my bro who quit school) that time is not a joke. Someday it would be likely for us to regret the things we didn't do than the things we did.

.:!!:.:!!:.:!!:.

Last Saturday night, my best bud got married already, Of course i went there to support them and be a part of the celebration. Just when the ceremony is going-on, there's something in me that's stinging clear.. It's the question, when will i get married?! ngaks.. Reality started to bite me again. Well, well i must say when the time comes. Marriage is something i won't rush until i find the right person. :)

Happy Heart's Day!

i can't help but share this message/quote i got on sms..

There is nothing wrong in loving someone.
You may be able to bear the pain when love begins to hurt
and when it hurts, you may still be able to give even more..

You may be even able to love till it hurts no more.

But what good does it bring you when the person you love
shows no respect for what you feel and makes lame excuses
for his inability to love you back?

Love isn't love till you give it away..

But love will only have life when it is shared by 2 people
who believe in its meaning..

HAPPY HEART'S DAY !

Happy Heart's Month!

Last night, couples headed to Baywalk once again for the lovapalooza event. I call that lovapalooza thing the kissing event. You know.. they go there, do the countdown then kiss. Of course, i didn't go there. (Who am i going to kiss?! myself?! hhehe..) Just stayed at home.

Just wanted to greet everyone a Happy Heart's Month!

here's an excerpt from one of my favorite books.....

"I am a fox," said the fox. "Come and play with me," proposed the little prince. "I am so unhappy." "I cannot play with you," the fox said. "I am not tamed." "Ah! Please excuse me," said the little prince. But, after some thought, he added: "What does that mean, 'tame'?"
"It is an act too often neglected," said the fox. It means to establish ties." "'To establish ties'?" "Just that," said the fox. "To me, you are still nothing more than a little boy who is just like a hundred thousand other little boys. And I have no need of you. And you, on your part, have no need of me. To you, I am nothing more than a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you tame me, then we shall need each other. To me, you will be unique in all the world. To you, I shall be unique in all the world..." "I am beginning to understand," said the little prince. "There is a flower... I think that she has tamed me..."

"Nothing is perfect," sighed the fox. But he came back to his idea. "My life is very monotonous," the fox said. "I hunt chickens; men hunt me. All the chickens are just alike, and all the men are just alike. And, in consequence, I am a little bored. But if you tame me, it will be as if the sun came to shine on my life . I shall know the sound of a step that will be different from all the others. Other steps send me hurrying back underneath the ground. Yours will call me, like music, out of my burrow. And then look: you see the grain-fields down yonder? I do not eat bread. Wheat is of no use to me. The wheat fields have nothing to say to me. And that is sad. But you have hair that is the colour of gold. Think how wonderful that will be when you have tamed me! The grain, which is also golden, will bring me back the thought of you. And I shall love to listen to the wind in the wheat..."

The fox gazed at the little prince, for a long time. "Please, tame me!" he said. "I want to, very much," the little prince replied. "But I have not much time. I have friends to discover, and a great many things to understand." "One only understands the things that one tames," said the fox. "Men have no more time to understand anything. They buy things all ready made at the shops. But there is no shop anywhere where one can buy friendship, and so men have no friends any more. If you want a friend, tame me..."
So the little prince tamed the fox. And when the hour of his departure drew near... "Ah," said the fox, "I shall cry." "It is your own fault," said the little prince. "I never wished you any sort of harm; but you wanted me to tame you..." "Yes, that is so," said the fox. "But now you are going to cry!" said the little prince. "Yes, that is so," said the fox. "Then it has done you no good at all!" "It has done me good," said the fox, "because of the color of the wheat fields." And then he added: "Go and look again at the roses. You will understand now that yours is unique in all the world. Then come back to say goodbye to me, and I will make you a present of a secret." ...

"Goodbye," said the fox. "And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." "What is essential is invisible to the eye," the little prince repeated, so that he would be sure to remember. "It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important." "It is the time I have wasted for my rose..." said the little prince, so that he would be sure to remember. "Men have forgotten this truth," said the fox. "But you must not forget it. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed. You are responsible for your rose..." "I am responsible for my rose," the little prince repeated, so that he would be sure to remember.
